Hey I know this is hella random but I need some help if you have time. I love rap like crazy, and so I started coming up with rhymes. If I have any talent at all, it only comes out when I have time to sit down and think. It sounds weird but what I'm tryin to say is that if two people sit down to think up a song - one of them is me and the other is the average person - my song will sound a lot better. It'll flow well and have crazy rhyme schemes. But the problem is this - I can't think up shit off the top of my head. I know I choke when I get pressured, but aside from that I'm still having trouble thinking up lines in the first place. I tried freestyling in my room with a beat playing but I couldn't think up stuff and flow with it. I'm havin a lot of issues and I dunno if you had any advice.

Oh and it's not like I take forever or anything. I just put together a verse in about a couple minutes against someone who freestyled the shit outta me earlier. I might not be able to come up with stuff on the spot, but it's not too slow either. In fact, I can make rhymes up faster if I'm writin a song on my computer. I'll type up a line and come up with a subsequent line that flows and rhymes with it, and it'll come to me quicker. But I think my head gets all plugged up or it blanks out when I'm doing nothing but standing there thinking.
